There’s a clear defensive idea behind this Builder Hall 6 base number 04: keep the dangerous buildings close enough to support each other, but make the route into the middle awkward. The Builder Hall is buried inside the main wall line rather than pushed toward an exposed corner, and most of the important defenses sit within fighting distance of that core. An attacker can certainly get inside, but reaching the center without losing troops on the way may be the harder part.
The Multi Mortar on the left side of the inner base is one of the placements I like most here. It has enough protection to avoid being an easy first target, while its splash damage can keep working on troops that bunch up around the walls. That may be especially useful when an attacker sends a large ground group through the same opening and expects everything to move neatly toward the Builder Hall.
Closer to the middle, the defensive buildings create several layers of pressure. The Roaster, Cannons, Archer Towers and other short-range defenses are positioned so that troops entering the core are unlikely to fight only one weapon at a time. In practice, that can make an otherwise healthy push lose strength surprisingly quickly. A Battle Machine might survive the initial wall break, for example, only to start taking fire from more than one direction while smaller troops get distracted by nearby buildings.
The right side deserves attention as well. The Air Bombs are separated from the central cluster, which appears intentional rather than accidental. Keeping an important anti-air defense slightly away from the Builder Hall means an air army may not be able to remove everything with one concentrated attack. If flying troops head straight for the center, the Air Bombs can remain active; if they turn toward the outside defense first, they give the rest of the base more time to respond.
Wall placement adds another small complication. The enclosure is not perfectly square or symmetrical. There are offsets, corners and short sections that can affect troop movement once the first buildings start falling. That unpredictability is useful at BH6 because many attacks depend on getting a clean funnel. One troop wandering toward a side structure can leave the main group without enough support when it reaches the heavier defenses.
The buildings outside the walls also have a job. Army Camps and other structures on the open edges stretch the amount of ground an attacker has to cover. They may not deal damage themselves, but leaving them untouched until late in the battle can turn the last few seconds into a cleanup problem. Percentage defense sometimes comes down to exactly that.
There is a weakness worth mentioning. The heart of the base is fairly dense. If someone creates a strong funnel and breaks into the correct section with most of their army still alive, several valuable defenses become reachable in a short period. The design is therefore more about making that clean entry difficult than creating an impenetrable center.
For Builder Hall 6, that feels like a sensible trade-off. The protected core, splash coverage, separated air defense and uneven pathing should make rushed attacks uncomfortable. It cannot guarantee a defensive win, but it appears capable of forcing opponents to manage their deployment carefully instead of simply dropping everything from one side and hoping the army sorts itself out.
