This Builder Hall 8 base number 10 takes a fairly aggressive approach to core protection. Instead of placing the important defenses in one large compartment, the walls divide the village into several connected sections around the Builder Hall. From the image, that seems to be the main defensive idea: troops can get inside, but keeping them together once they do may be the difficult part.

The Builder Hall sits almost directly in the center, which gives it protection from more than one direction. There is no completely isolated side where an attacker can remove a couple of outside buildings and immediately reach it. A push from the top has to work through a defended compartment first, while the lower approach leads into another concentrated group of defenses. Side entries are possible, although the wall junctions may encourage troops to turn toward nearby targets rather than continue straight for the Hall.

The upper section is especially useful for slowing an early rush. Defensive buildings are tucked behind the outer wall with enough spacing that one breakthrough does not instantly expose everything. Troops entering here may spend time moving across the compartment before they can transition toward the center. That gives defenses elsewhere in the base a little more time to contribute.

The lower half feels more dangerous once troops are already committed. The Multi Mortar and nearby defensive towers create sustained pressure around the route toward the middle. There is also a Roaster positioned where grouped ground or air units may take repeated damage as they move through the core. None of these defenses has to carry the base alone; the real value comes from several of them firing while troops are stuck choosing targets.

On the right, the Air Bombs are protected inside their own section rather than sitting openly on the edge. That should make an air-heavy attack spend some effort reaching them. Flying troops entering from another direction may avoid that defense initially, but they are then likely to cross more of the village before dealing with it. It is a reasonable trade-off and gives the air coverage some depth.

I also like the small outer buildings scattered around the perimeter. They look harmless, yet they can interfere with troop placement. A unit sent too wide may chase one of those structures and arrive late to the center. In Builder Base attacks, that kind of delay can be enough to leave the main force without support for a few important seconds.

The design is not perfect, and that is worth saying. The core is compact, so a well-prepared attack that enters with most of its army still healthy could gain momentum quickly. Once the central wall sections are opened, several important defenses are within relatively short distance of one another. Good funneling may also reduce some of the troop-splitting effect.

Still, the defense has a clear purpose. It appears built to create multiple entry decisions, awkward pathing and concentrated damage around the Builder Hall. Rather than relying on a single surprise, it asks the attacker to maintain control through several small compartments. If that control slips, even briefly, the base has enough overlapping pressure to punish the mistake.
