Could Clash of Clans Be Getting a Dedicated Decoration Area?
Clash of Clans players may have noticed an interesting post shared by the game’s official social media account. The image appears to show a wide, open section of land filled with decorations, obstacles, statues, seasonal items, and other collectible objects gathered over the years.
The accompanying message asks players what they think about having a special area for decoration collections. It is a simple question, but it has already sparked plenty of discussion. For long-time players, this could be more useful than it first sounds.
Why Players Want More Space for Decorations
Decorations have become a surprisingly important part of Clash of Clans. Some players collect anniversary cakes, Christmas trees, Halloween obstacles, statues, event rewards, and limited-time items. A village that has been active for several years can easily end up with dozens of objects scattered around the edge of the base.
At first, that collection feels special. Each item represents a different update or season. After a while, though, space becomes a problem.
Players often have to choose between keeping a rare decoration and maintaining enough room to redesign their village. Shovels of Obstacles help because they allow certain objects to be moved, but they do not completely solve the issue. A crowded border can still make the village look messy, especially when decorations from completely different themes sit next to each other.
A separate collection area may give players a cleaner way to display everything without sacrificing useful village space.
How a Decoration Zone Could Work
Supercell has not confirmed that this feature is actually coming, so the image may simply be asking for community feedback. Still, it is not difficult to imagine how the idea could work.
The game might introduce an additional section beside the Home Village where players can place unlocked decorations. It could function almost like a personal garden, museum, or trophy room. Players might arrange statues by year, create seasonal sections, or group decorations based on events.
For example, someone could place all Christmas trees together in one corner, Halloween obstacles in another, and anniversary items along a central path. That would probably look much better than squeezing every collectible between Army Camps and defensive buildings.
There could also be editing tools similar to the village layout editor. Players might move objects freely, rotate certain decorations, save multiple designs, or visit collection areas belonging to clanmates.
That last feature could make the idea more social. Visiting another player’s decoration zone may reveal how long they have played and which limited items they managed to keep.
Would Decorations Be Removed From the Main Village?
This is one detail that would need careful handling.
Some players enjoy displaying rare obstacles directly in their Home Village. A decoration area should probably remain optional rather than forcing everyone to move their collection. Ideally, players could choose whether an object stays in the village or appears in the special display area.
Another possibility would be a storage system. Once a decoration is unlocked, players could store and place it again later without permanently losing it. That may be more practical, although it could reduce the rarity associated with naturally spawned obstacles.
Supercell would need to balance convenience with the sentimental value of older items.
A Small Feature With Real Potential
A dedicated decoration area would not change war attacks or introduce a new troop, but it could still become a popular quality-of-life addition. Clash of Clans has been running for many years, and veteran accounts are carrying a lot of visual history.
Giving those collections their own space may help players preserve that history while keeping their main villages clean and easier to edit.
For now, the post appears to be more of a concept or community question than a confirmed update. Even so, the reaction may encourage Supercell to develop the idea further.
Personally, I think it would be a welcome addition—especially for players who have spent years carefully moving every seasonal tree to the edge of the map.
