TH13 Farming Base #7: Multi-Compartment Defense Built Around Resource Separation
TH13 Farming Layout #7 uses a multi-compartment structure with the Town Hall slightly offset toward the lower side of the core. Looking at the actual base, the most noticeable defensive feature is how the village separates its valuable buildings instead of stacking every storage into one central pocket. Several medium-sized compartments surround the core, giving different resource sections their own walls and defensive support.
For farming, that makes sense. The base does not need to stop every raid completely. Its job is to make taking all the available loot considerably harder than reaching the first storage.
Separate compartments protect different resource pockets
The Gold and Elixir Storages are distributed through several sections rather than sitting along one easy route.
This gives the defense a useful form of damage control. A raider may break into one compartment and collect some resources, but the remaining storages are still protected behind another wall line and another group of active defenses.
Storages themselves also contribute to the defense because of their high hit points. While troops spend time destroying one, nearby X-Bows, Inferno Towers, Scattershots, and other defenses can continue applying damage.
That extra delay may appear small, but across several compartments it can become important.
The Town Hall supports the deeper defensive network
The Town Hall sits slightly below the true center, surrounded by stronger defensive sections rather than isolated on an edge.
Its placement helps keep the core valuable without turning it into the only section that matters. Even if one side of the base begins to collapse, other compartments can remain active around the Town Hall and remaining storages.
The layout therefore protects resources through depth and separation, rather than betting everything on one central compartment.
Air and Inferno pressure remains spread out
The anti-air network appears divided across opposite parts of the village, while the Inferno Towers support different routes toward the middle.
That spacing gives the defense more staying power.
If one side is compromised, another defensive zone can continue protecting a different resource pocket. It also reduces the chance that several major threats can be neutralized from the same small area.
The result is sustained defensive pressure rather than one short burst around the core.
The top edge carries the biggest defensive risk
The top edge appears to be the most accessible side of Layout #7.
The main concern is a funnel that becomes too wide. If several neighboring compartments are pressured at once, the defense can lose its staged structure faster than intended.
There is a tradeoff, though. A wide entry may also cause the attacking force to split. One group can remain occupied near the outside while another moves deeper into the base. From the defender's perspective, that separation is useful because concentrated damage falls and cleanup becomes slower.
Why Layout #7 works for Farming
The strongest quality of TH13 Farming Base #7 is that it protects resources in separate stages.
Its slightly offset Town Hall, distributed storages, compartment-heavy core, divided Inferno coverage, and spread anti-air network all support the same defensive goal: allow limited loot loss without exposing the entire resource area through one push.
Overall, Layout #7 is a farming defense built around storage separation, wall depth, troop-pathing disruption, and time pressure. A strong raid may still collect one valuable section, but the remaining storages demand another commitment rather than falling naturally along the same route.
