TH10 Farming Base #1: Broken-Ring Defense Built Around Resource Separation
TH10 Farming Layout #1 uses a broken-ring structure with the Town Hall slightly offset toward the lower side of the core. Looking at the base itself, the design seems aimed at one practical goal: make it difficult for a raider to collect every valuable resource through the same entry.
The Town Hall, storages, Inferno Towers, and supporting defenses are spread across several connected sections. One compartment may fall fairly quickly, but reaching the next valuable pocket requires another movement decision. For farming, that can be more useful than trying to create one supposedly impenetrable center.
The broken ring creates awkward resource paths
The wall structure is probably the most interesting part of Layout #1.
Rather than forming a completely closed square, several compartments wrap around the center with interruptions between them. Those breaks may encourage troops to move around the core instead of travelling directly through it.
That matters because a farming raid often depends on efficiency. If troops spend extra time clearing one side while another group circles toward a different target, the attacker can lose valuable seconds without necessarily realizing it.
A storage may still be taken. The question is whether the same army can reach the next one cheaply.
The Town Hall supports the deeper defense
The Town Hall sits slightly below center, surrounded by the stronger defensive network rather than being pushed to an outside corner.
This placement gives the base another high-value objective without making everything depend on it. Storages remain spread around the central area, so a raid committed to the Town Hall may leave resources elsewhere untouched.
The reverse is also true. A player who concentrates on loot first still has to deal with the deeper Town Hall section later.
That split in priorities suits a farming layout well.
Air Defenses and Infernos stay separated
The Air Defenses are distributed around different inner compartments, while the Inferno Towers remain separated enough to reduce easy single-spell value.
This helps the defense stay active in stages.
Queen Charge LavaLoon may be able to remove an important defensive lane, but the remaining air route still needs careful planning. Hog or Miner Hybrid can also work if pathing through the ring is controlled properly.
The compact sections could offer chain value to Electro Dragons when the base is attacked by a higher Town Hall level, although an equal-level TH10 attacker would normally use TH10-available armies.
The upper-right edge is the main pressure point
The upper-right edge appears to provide the cleanest funnel.
The main weakness is a controlled entry that interrupts the ring before troops begin circling away from the intended objective. If that section is opened efficiently, the attacker may create a much shorter route toward the center.
For the defense, this side ideally needs to cost something—time, hero health, spells, abilities, or troop strength—before the inner resource pockets become exposed.
Why Layout #1 works for Farming
The strongest quality of TH10 Farming Base #1 is the distance and pathing friction between its valuable sections.
Its offset Town Hall, broken-ring walls, separated storages, divided Infernos, and spread Air Defense coverage all support the same idea: taking one resource pocket should be easier than taking the entire village’s loot.
