TH10 Farming Base #3: Broken-Ring Defense Built Around Separated Loot Paths
TH10 Farming Layout #3 uses a broken-ring structure with the Town Hall slightly offset toward the lower side of the core. Looking at the actual base, the design seems more focused on spreading resource value than building one perfectly protected central box. Gold and Elixir Storages sit on different paths, while the walls create enough interruptions that moving from one valuable section to another is not completely straightforward.
For farming, that is a sensible idea. The base may lose one storage during a strong raid, but the attacker still has to commit again if they want the rest.
The broken ring makes troop movement less comfortable
The wall pattern is probably the most interesting part of Layout #3.
Several compartments almost connect around the center, but the ring is deliberately interrupted. Troops clearing one section may begin circling toward nearby defenses rather than moving directly toward the next storage.
That is useful because a farming defense does not necessarily need to destroy the entire army. Sometimes wasting movement is enough.
If one group stays outside while another moves toward the Town Hall, the attack becomes less concentrated. Spells cover fewer troops, cleanup gets slower, and untouched resource pockets gain extra time.
The Town Hall supports the deeper resource network
The Town Hall sits slightly below center rather than being pushed to an exposed edge.
Its placement gives the middle defensive weight without making the whole layout depend on one building. A player attacking primarily for loot may choose a storage-heavy side instead, while someone chasing the Town Hall still has to navigate the surrounding compartments.
That creates a useful farming trade: which section is worth spending the main army on?
Because the storages are not arranged in one neat line, getting one does not automatically provide access to the others.
Air Defenses and Infernos remain separate threats
The Air Defenses are spread around the inner compartments, while the Inferno Towers sit far enough apart to reduce easy single-spell value.
That spacing makes one defensive breakthrough less decisive.
Queen Charge LavaLoon could potentially create a strong route if the Queen removes the right section first. Hog or Miner Hybrid is another realistic threat, especially if the attacker can control pathing through the broken ring.
Electro Dragons could punish some compact pockets when the base is attacked by a higher Town Hall player, although they are not a native TH10 troop.
The lower-left edge is the main weakness
The lower-left edge appears to offer the cleanest funnel.
The real danger is a controlled entry that interrupts the ring before troops start circling away from the core. If that corner is opened efficiently, the attacker can shorten the route toward the center and remove much of the pathing friction the design relies on.
Ideally, this side should cost time, hero health, spells, or troop strength before the deeper compartments become vulnerable.
Why Layout #3 works for Farming
The strongest quality of TH10 Farming Base #3 is the distance between its resource sections.
The broken-ring walls, offset Town Hall, separated storages, divided Infernos, and spread Air Defenses all reinforce one practical goal: taking one valuable pocket should be noticeably easier than taking the whole resource network.
