TH10 Farming Base #2: Storage-Led Diamond with Staged Loot Protection
TH10 Farming Layout #2 uses a storage-led diamond structure with the Town Hall slightly offset toward the upper side of the core. Looking at the base itself, the design appears to prioritize resource separation rather than placing every valuable building behind one central wall. Gold and Elixir Storages sit across different sections, while defensive compartments interrupt the route between them.
That gives the layout a clear farming purpose: an attacker may reach one storage without too much trouble, but turning that opening into a full loot sweep is a different challenge.
Storages shape the defensive path
The resource buildings are not stacked together in one obvious pocket. Instead, they help form the diamond around the inner defensive area.
That matters because storages have enough hit points to slow troops while nearby defenses keep firing. Even if a storage eventually falls, the time spent destroying it may weaken the army before it moves toward the next resource section.
The Town Hall also benefits from this arrangement. It sits slightly above center, protected without becoming the only important target in the village.
A raid focused on the Town Hall may leave other loot pockets untouched. A loot-first attack, meanwhile, still has to deal with the deeper defensive core.
The diamond creates awkward movement between sections
The angled wall pattern makes the route through the village less direct than a simple square layout.
Troops finishing one compartment can be pulled toward a side defense or storage instead of moving neatly toward the center. That may create small splits between heroes, tanks, and support troops.
For the defender, those splits are useful. A Hog or Miner Hybrid attack is much easier to manage when its pathing becomes uneven, because Heal timing and troop concentration start to suffer.
Queen Charge LavaLoon can also threaten the layout, but the Queen phase needs to remove the correct defensive section while leaving a sensible path for the air army afterward.
Defensive coverage stays spread out
The Air Defenses protect different entry lanes, while the Inferno Towers act as separate inner anchors rather than one compact pair.
That spacing reduces easy spell value and helps the defense remain dangerous after one section begins to fall.
Some compact areas could offer good chain value to Electro Dragons from higher-level attackers, although equal-level TH10 raids would normally rely on TH10-available armies.
The upper-left edge is the main weakness
The upper-left edge appears to offer the cleanest funnel.
The bigger danger is a diagonal push that turns an exposed storage lane into a shortcut toward the center. If that side is removed too cheaply, the attacker can reduce the travel distance between resource pockets and weaken the diamond’s main defensive advantage.
Ideally, this entry should cost hero health, spells, troops, or simply enough time to make the deeper sections harder to finish.
Why Layout #2 works for Farming
The strongest quality of TH10 Farming Base #2 is that the storage path is broken into stages.
Its offset Town Hall, storage-led diamond, separated resource pockets, divided Infernos, and spread Air Defense coverage all reinforce one simple idea: taking one storage should be noticeably easier than taking everything.
