TH10 Farming Base #4: Storage-Led Diamond Built to Separate Loot Routes

TH10 Farming Layout #4 uses a storage-led diamond structure with the Town Hall protected near the center behind the main storage line. Looking at the actual base, the farming idea is fairly clear: valuable resources are divided between several compartments instead of being offered along one comfortable route.

A quick raid may reach one storage. Getting from that first success to the rest of the loot, however, requires more wall access, troop movement, and time.

The storages shape the defensive path

Gold and Elixir Storages are positioned around different parts of the inner diamond rather than stacked into one easy pocket.

That separation gives the layout useful damage control. If an attacker breaks one compartment, the other storages are still protected by different walls and defensive coverage.

The storages themselves also help defensively. Their high hit points can keep troops occupied while nearby X-Bows, Inferno Towers, Wizard Towers, Archer Towers, and other defenses continue firing.

The Town Hall sits behind this resource line, which means an attacker cannot simply take one storage and expect a completely open route toward every other valuable target.

The diamond layout creates awkward transitions

The angled compartments around the middle are probably the strongest structural feature of Layout #4.

Rather than giving troops one straight route, the base presents targets in several directions. An army that starts together may gradually split as some units move toward a nearby storage while others continue deeper.

From the defender's perspective, that is useful.

Hog or Miner Hybrid attacks benefit from predictable pathing. If the route becomes messy, Heal timing becomes less efficient and troops can arrive at defensive pockets at different times.

Queen Charge LavaLoon presents another threat, but the Queen phase would need to remove the correct defensive lane while also creating a clean path for the air army afterward.

Air and Inferno coverage stays separated

The Air Defenses appear to protect crossing lanes, while the Inferno Towers sit far enough apart to avoid becoming one simple spell target.

That spacing means one successful attack phase does not automatically switch off the whole defensive network.

Some compact sections may also offer chain value to Electro Dragon-style attacks from higher Town Hall levels, although equal-level TH10 attackers are more likely to rely on TH10-available compositions such as LavaLoon or Hybrid-style armies.

The upper-left edge is the main weakness

The upper-left edge appears to offer the cleanest funnel.

The real danger is a diagonal push that turns an exposed storage lane into direct access toward the center. If that corner is removed cheaply, the diamond becomes easier to read and some of the travel distance between resource pockets disappears.

Ideally, this area should cost the attacker something—time, hero health, spells, abilities, or troop strength—before the deeper compartments open.

Why Layout #4 works for Farming

The strongest quality of TH10 Farming Base #4 is that one successful entry does not automatically expose the whole resource area.

Its central Town Hall, separated storages, storage-led diamond, divided Infernos, and spread Air Defense coverage all reinforce the same idea: taking one valuable pocket should be easier than taking everything.
