TH10 Farming Base #6: Storage-Led Diamond Built Around Split Resource Paths

TH10 Farming Layout #6 uses a storage-led diamond structure with the Town Hall slightly offset toward the lower side of the core. What stands out in the actual layout is how the valuable buildings are deliberately spread across several compartments. There is no single lane where an attacker can collect the Town Hall, Gold, Elixir, and the main defensive value without changing direction.

That makes this a genuine farming design. It seems willing to lose one resource pocket if doing so keeps the rest of the loot behind fresh walls and active defenses.

The storages help shape troop movement

The Gold and Elixir Storages are positioned around different sections of the inner diamond rather than grouped together.

This does two things. First, breaking into one compartment does not immediately expose every other storage. Second, those high-hitpoint buildings can hold troops in place while nearby defenses continue firing.

A raid might take the first storage fairly comfortably, then discover that the next valuable target sits across another wall junction. That extra travel is easy to underestimate, especially late in an attack when cleanup troops are already scattered.

The slightly lower Town Hall adds another target without turning the whole base into a Town Hall-first defense.

The diamond structure creates awkward transitions

The angled wall layout appears designed to make straight-line pathing difficult.

Once troops enter the inner sections, several targets become available at similar distances. A few units may move toward one storage while heroes or the main force turn somewhere else.

That split can be useful for the defense. Hog or Miner Hybrid-style attacks are much cleaner when pathing remains predictable. If troops start dividing across adjacent compartments, Heal timing becomes less efficient and defensive buildings receive longer firing windows.

Queen Charge LavaLoon could also pressure the base, but the Queen phase would need to remove the correct defensive lane rather than simply taking whatever value is easiest.

Air Defenses and Infernos stay separated

The Air Defenses are split around the inner compartments, while the Inferno Towers remain far enough apart to avoid becoming one simple spell target.

That spacing helps the village remain dangerous in stages. One section may fall while another still protects a different storage route.

Some compact areas could also offer chain value to Electro Dragons from a higher-level attacker, but for an equal-level TH10 raid, more realistic threats would come from LavaLoon, Hybrid-style attacks, or other TH10 compositions.

The upper-left edge is the main weakness

The upper-left edge appears to offer the cleanest funnel.

The bigger danger is a diagonal push that uses an exposed storage lane as a shortcut toward the center. If that corner is removed cheaply, some of the diamond's defensive depth disappears and the core becomes easier to approach.

Ideally, this side should cost the attacker something—time, hero health, spells, or troop strength—before the deeper sections open.

Why Layout #6 works for Farming

The strongest quality of TH10 Farming Base #6 is that its storages are intentionally placed on different routes.

The offset Town Hall, storage-led diamond, divided Air Defenses, separated Infernos, and angled compartments all support one idea: taking one valuable section should be easier than taking the entire resource network.
