TH11 Farming Base #2: Multi-Compartment Layout Built to Stretch Loot Collection
TH11 Farming Layout #2 takes a multi-compartment approach with the Town Hall sitting slightly below the true center of the village. What caught my attention first is that the base does not try to protect every resource with the same wall box. Instead, storages, major defenses, and the Town Hall are distributed across several connected sections.
That makes the layout feel genuinely farming-focused. A raider may get a reasonable amount of value from the first entry, but continuing through the rest of the resource network looks considerably less straightforward.
The compartments make one good entry less valuable
Several small and medium-sized compartments divide the interior of the base. This means troops that finish one section often need to cross another wall or change direction before they can reach the next storage.
For farming defense, that is useful.
The goal does not have to be stopping the entire army at the perimeter. If a Gold or Elixir Storage falls but the troops spend enough time reaching it, another storage elsewhere may stay untouched.
There is also a pathing benefit. When several compartments open at once, troops can start selecting different targets. One group might move deeper toward the core while another gets distracted by defenses or resources off to the side.
That split can quietly waste a lot of time.
The Town Hall adds pressure without becoming the only target
The Town Hall is slightly offset toward the lower side, so it remains protected without sitting exactly in the middle of every defensive route.
I like that for this type of farming layout. An attacker chasing the Town Hall may leave other resource compartments untouched, while a raid focused purely on loot still has to deal with the central defensive network.
In other words, there is no single target that completely solves the base.
Air and Inferno coverage works from different directions
The anti-air network is spread across opposite sections, while the Inferno Towers support different approaches into the middle.
That spacing helps the defense avoid one obvious failure point.
Queen Charge LavaLoon may be able to remove one important section, but the air phase still has to deal with coverage elsewhere. Hog or Miner Hybrid is another realistic threat, especially if the attacker creates predictable pathing through the compartments.
Electro Dragons could also find useful chain damage in some compact pockets. However, the wider gaps between sections may reduce that advantage once the attack moves away from the densest areas.
The top edge is the main area to watch
The top edge appears to offer the easiest funnel.
That does not necessarily mean it is a free entry. The real issue is funnel width. If the attacker shapes too much of the top side at once, the main army may split between adjacent sections.
For the defender, that can actually help. Separate troop groups receive less efficient support and may finish their compartments at different times.
The danger comes when the attacker controls that split deliberately and keeps both groups useful. That is probably the cleanest way to reduce the layout's time-pressure advantage.
Why Layout #2 works for Farming
The strength of TH11 Farming Base #2 is that collecting some loot is much easier than collecting all of it.
Its offset Town Hall, separated storage paths, multi-compartment core, divided Inferno coverage, and spread anti-air network all contribute to that idea.
