TH11 Farming Base #9: Layered-Square Defense Built Around Separated Resource Paths
TH11 Farming Layout #9 uses a layered-square structure with the Town Hall slightly offset toward the lower side of the village. Looking at the base itself, the farming purpose is fairly easy to spot. Resource buildings are not lined up behind one obvious entry. Instead, the storages sit on different paths, while several defensive compartments force an attacker to keep changing direction.
That is a useful farming philosophy. The base may lose one storage during a determined raid, but the next valuable section should require another commitment rather than falling automatically.
The layered squares protect loot in stages
The wall structure creates several overlapping square and diamond-like sections around the center.
This gives the village depth. Breaking one wall does not immediately expose every valuable building behind it. Troops still have to cross another compartment, retarget, or move sideways before reaching the next storage.
That extra movement is more important than it may look.
In farming defense, stopping every troop is unrealistic. Slowing the raid can be enough. If an army spends fifteen or twenty extra seconds moving between sections, another storage may survive simply because cleanup becomes rushed.
Storages act as part of the defense
Gold and Elixir Storages are distributed across different parts of the base rather than grouped together.
Besides separating the loot, those high-hitpoint buildings can absorb damage while nearby Inferno Towers, X-Bows, Archer Towers, Wizard Towers, and other defenses keep firing.
The slightly lower Town Hall benefits from the same structure. It remains protected inside the deeper network, but the whole base does not revolve around one central objective.
That makes sense for farming. The real target is not just the Town Hall—it is the combined resource value spread throughout the village.
Air and Inferno pressure covers different routes
The anti-air network appears spread across opposite sections, while the Inferno Towers support different approaches into the core.
That spacing helps prevent one successful spell sequence from simplifying too much of the base at once.
Electro Dragons may find some compact areas where chain damage looks attractive, but the important defensive value is not packed into one tiny zone. Hog or Miner Hybrid can also threaten this layout, especially with a Queen Charge setting the path, yet the compartment structure may punish an attack that becomes too wide.
The right edge is the clearest pressure point
The right edge appears to offer the cleanest opening.
The main weakness is a disciplined corner funnel that creates a relatively straight line through two wall layers. If that route is established cheaply, some of the defensive depth disappears and troops can reach the middle faster than intended.
For the defense, this side ideally needs to consume hero health, abilities, troops, or simply enough time to make the deeper compartments harder to finish.
Why Layout #9 works for Farming
The strongest feature of TH11 Farming Base #9 is that the resources are deliberately placed on different routes.
Its layered walls, offset Town Hall, separated storages, divided Inferno pressure, and spread anti-air coverage all support one goal: make collecting every valuable resource significantly harder than taking the first storage pocket.
