TH14 Clan War Base #11: Asymmetric Diamond Defense Built Around Objective Separation
TH14 Clan War Layout #11 uses an asymmetric diamond structure with the Town Hall positioned near the edge of the inner defensive core. Looking carefully at the actual layout, the defensive concept appears to be separation rather than simple central stacking. Important defenses are distributed across different compartments, so breaking one section should not automatically remove every major threat.
That gives Layout #11 a clear Clan War identity. The Town Hall is important, but the base seems more interested in protecting the final star than in pretending the objective can never be reached.
The Town Hall creates a separate defensive problem
The Town Hall sits away from several other valuable defensive anchors instead of sharing one compact compartment with all of them.
That is useful from the defender's perspective.
If an attacking force commits heavily around the Town Hall, several Infernos, X-Bows, Air Defenses, and supporting structures can remain active elsewhere. The base effectively divides the raid into stages.
One section may fall cleanly, yet the surviving army still has another defensive problem waiting behind it.
This separation may also prevent a single concentrated push from gaining too much value at once, which is especially important in an anti-three-star war layout.
The asymmetric diamond creates uncertain troop movement
The wall structure is one of the strongest features visible in Base #11.
The compartments are not perfectly mirrored. Some lanes are longer, others turn sharply, and defensive targets sit at different depths around the diamond.
That uneven geometry can disrupt troop formation.
Yeti or Bowler Smash armies are much harder to defend when tanks, heroes, and support troops remain together. Here, the structure appears designed to encourage those groups to separate as different targets become available.
Once the formation stretches, the defense gains time. Infernos and other high-damage buildings can focus smaller groups, while spell coverage becomes less efficient.
Air and Inferno pressure remains divided
The anti-air network is spread across opposite sections of the village, while the Inferno Towers support different routes through the core.
That spacing is deliberate.
Rather than offering one neat defensive cluster, Layout #11 forces the attacking army to deal with several independent threats. Against Dragons or LavaLoon, losing one air-defense section does not automatically make the rest of the village safe.
The same defensive logic applies to Queen Charge Hybrid: one compartment can disappear while meaningful firepower remains alive somewhere else.
The right side is the main structural concern
The right edge appears to offer the shortest route toward the inner defensive network.
From the defender's point of view, this is the side that needs to consume attacking resources before the core is fully exposed.
The danger is a short diagonal that reduces the amount of time supporting defenses have to overlap their fire. If that section collapses too cheaply, the asymmetric structure becomes easier to read.
Even so, the defense does not necessarily need an immediate stop. Forcing extra time, hero health, abilities, or spell usage may already be enough to strengthen the surviving compartments.
Why Layout #11 fits Clan War
The strongest feature of TH14 Clan War Base #11 is the separation between the main objective and the defensive value beyond it.
The Town Hall demands commitment. The asymmetric diamond creates uncertain movement. Infernos and Air Defenses preserve pressure across different zones, while distant compartments can become awkward cleanup targets later.
