TH14 Clan War Base #25: Multi-Compartment Defense Built Around Objective Separation

TH14 Clan War Layout #25 uses a wide multi-compartment structure with the Town Hall deliberately shifted toward the right side of the village. Looking closely at the base itself, the defensive idea appears to be separation: the Town Hall, Inferno Towers, air defenses, and other important threats are not sitting inside one compact central pocket.

That matters in Clan War. The layout seems willing to let an attacker make progress in one area if that commitment leaves enough defensive strength alive elsewhere to protect the third star.

The offset Town Hall changes the defensive balance

The Town Hall sits noticeably to the right of the geometric center. That placement makes it part of the defensive network without turning it into the single point around which the entire village is built.

From the defender's perspective, this creates a useful tradeoff.

A force committed heavily toward the Town Hall may still leave several high-value defenses untouched in other compartments. The base therefore avoids the problem of giving away the objective and a large chunk of defensive value during the same engagement.

In practical terms, the Town Hall can fall and the layout can still remain dangerous.

Separate compartments keep pressure alive

The core is divided into many irregular sections rather than one large box.

That structure appears designed to keep different defensive pockets functioning independently. Losing one compartment does not necessarily open a clean path through the next.

It also creates pathing pressure.

A heavy ground army that enters too broadly may begin separating between neighboring sections. When front-line troops, heroes, and support units stop moving together, the defense gains time. Infernos, X-Bows, Scattershots, and surrounding defenses can focus on smaller groups instead of one concentrated army.

That is likely one of Layout #25's strongest anti-three-star features.

Air and Inferno coverage avoids one obvious target

The anti-air network is spread across opposite sections of the village, while the Inferno Towers support different routes into the core.

This is a smart defensive choice because it reduces the chance of several major threats being controlled at the same moment.

Against Dragons or LavaLoon, one side of the base may begin weakening while another air-defense zone continues applying pressure. Yeti or Bowler Smash and Queen Charge Hybrid armies face a similar issue on the ground: removing one defensive section does not automatically neutralize everything behind it.

The base is designed to stay dangerous in stages.

The bottom edge is the main pressure point

The bottom edge appears to be the most readable entry side, which gives that section an important defensive job.

If the opening becomes too clean, too much attacking strength may survive for the Town Hall and central compartments. But there is another possibility: a wide funnel can cause the main army to divide between adjacent sections.

That split actually helps the defense.

Instead of one powerful formation moving through the village, multiple smaller groups begin fighting separate battles. Spell coverage becomes less efficient, troop movement slows, and the clock starts becoming more relevant.

Why Layout #25 works for Clan War

The strongest idea behind TH14 Clan War Base #25 is the choice between objective security and preserving enough attacking strength for the back end.

The offset Town Hall, independent compartments, separated Inferno pressure, and staggered anti-air coverage are all working toward the same goal: make a successful Town Hall phase different from a comfortable three-star finish.
