TH6 Farming Base number 2 – Compartmented Core and Resource Protection Analysis
This TH6 farming base looks almost decorative because of its small diamond-shaped compartments, but the structure has a practical purpose. Instead of putting every useful building behind one continuous wall, the layout breaks the village into several pockets around the Town Hall. An attacker may get through the first section without much trouble, yet that does not automatically give them a clear path across the whole base.
The Town Hall sits around the middle, with the two Elixir Storages positioned on opposite sides of the central area. That separation is useful for farming. If someone attacks from the left and manages to reach the first Elixir Storage, the second is still on the other side of the core with walls and defensive buildings in between.
Gold protection appears to follow the same general idea. Valuable buildings are kept inside the defended part of the village rather than placed directly on the perimeter. So a quick raid aimed at one resource pocket may still leave something behind elsewhere.
What interests me most is the wall pattern. There are several small compartments arranged around the center, and each one gives Giants another defensive target to chase. A Giant group entering from the bottom could move toward one Cannon or Archer Tower, while Wizards, Archers, or Goblins behind them become distracted by a storage.
That split may sound minor, but it can completely change a cheap farming raid. Once the tanks move away from the support troops, the attacker starts losing control of the push.
The high-hitpoint storages also help create defensive delays. Troops cannot remove them as quickly as collectors or smaller buildings. While a group is busy attacking one storage, nearby defenses keep firing. At TH6, where many farming armies are built to save resources rather than overpower the entire village, a few extra seconds of damage can matter.
Splash defense should also be useful around the inner compartments. Mortars can pressure groups from farther back, while Wizard Towers become dangerous when Goblins, Archers, Barbarians, or Wizards bunch together around a wall opening or storage. A group may grab some loot, but surviving long enough to cross into the next compartment is another question.
The outside buildings create a trade-off. They can provide easy destruction percentage, but they may also interfere with funneling. Troops placed too widely could start clearing the perimeter instead of entering where the attacker intended.
There is one clear weakness: the core is compact. If a strong army reaches the center with most of its troops still alive, several important buildings are close enough together to fall quickly. The symmetrical shape also becomes fairly easy to understand after studying it.
Still, for everyday TH6 farming, the layout makes sense. Its defense is built around splitting the valuable resources, slowing troop movement with multiple compartments, using storages as hitpoint barriers, and keeping enough defensive fire around the core to make a full loot sweep expensive. It may not stop every attack, but it should make taking everything noticeably harder than simply breaking through one wall.
