TH6 Farming Base number 4 – Compact Diamond Resource Defense Analysis

This TH6 farming base looks simple from a distance, but the resource protection is actually quite deliberate. The Town Hall sits near the middle of a compact diamond-shaped structure, while the important storages are kept behind multiple wall sections. For a farming layout, that is a sensible approach: an attacker may get into the village, but taking every valuable building in one quick push is another matter.

The two Elixir Storages are positioned on opposite sides of the inner area. I like that choice because it prevents one wall opening from giving immediate access to both. An attacker entering from the left may reach the first storage without too much trouble, yet the second still sits across the core with walls and defensive buildings in the way.

The wall pattern is probably the strongest feature here. Rather than creating one huge interior, the base uses several smaller compartments around the Town Hall. Giants can break through one side and then get pulled toward a Cannon, Archer Tower, or another defensive target instead of continuing straight through the middle.

Support troops may behave differently. Goblins could head toward a storage while Wizards or Archers stop on nearby buildings. Once the army starts splitting into separate groups, the raid becomes less efficient—and that is exactly what a farming base wants.

There is also a useful concentration of defensive fire around the resource area. Mortars and Wizard Towers appear positioned deep enough to keep attacking as troops work inward. Against a cheap farming army, splash damage can be particularly annoying. A pack of Goblins might take one storage quickly, for example, but if they remain grouped while moving toward the next target, they could disappear just as fast.

The storages themselves contribute to the defense too. They have far more hit points than ordinary collectors or small buildings, so troops can spend several seconds standing in one place trying to destroy them. During that time, the surrounding defenses are still firing. At TH6, those small delays can add up surprisingly quickly.

Another useful detail is the amount of space between the core and some of the outside buildings. Those structures can give away easy percentage, which is a weakness, but they can also disrupt funneling. Troops placed too far apart may walk around the edge rather than entering the compartment the attacker originally wanted.

The compact design does have a downside. Once a strong army reaches the center with most of its troops still alive, several important targets are close together. An experienced attacker may also understand the symmetrical structure fairly quickly and choose a cleaner entry.

Even with that trade-off, the layout makes sense for everyday TH6 farming. Its real strength comes from separated storages, repeated wall compartments, high-hitpoint delays, splash coverage, and troop pathing that can turn one planned push into several smaller fights. It may not stop every raid, but it should make a full loot sweep more expensive than simply grabbing the easiest storage and leaving
