TH6 Farming Base number 6 – Central Storage Core and Layered Loot Defense
This TH6 farming base keeps most of its valuable resources close to the middle, but it does not leave them sitting inside one completely open compartment. The Town Hall anchors the center, with the two Gold Storages slightly above it and the Elixir Storages positioned to the lower-left and lower-right. For a farming layout, the idea seems pretty clear: make attackers enter the defended part of the village before they can collect the best loot.
The storage arrangement is interesting because the Gold and Elixir are protected in slightly different ways. Both Gold Storages sit fairly close to each other, which could give a strong central attack decent value. Still, they are placed behind walls and surrounded by several defenses, so reaching them cheaply with a small farming army may not be easy.
The Elixir Storages are separated by the Town Hall and other inner buildings. That should make them a little harder to collect in one quick sweep. An attacker entering from the left, for example, could reach the first Elixir Storage while still having another defended section to cross before taking the one on the right.
The walls do more than simply surround the loot. Smaller inner sections break up the path through the base, and that may cause ground troops to lose their clean formation. Giants can move toward a Cannon or Archer Tower while Goblins or Wizards stop on one of the storages. Once the tanks and support troops begin moving separately, the defenses get a much better chance to pick them off.
I particularly like the Wizard Tower positions near the lower corners of the core. Those areas are close to the Elixir Storages and likely entry routes, which makes the splash damage useful against grouped Goblins, Archers, Barbarians, or Wizards. A mass of cheap troops might reach one storage quickly, but staying alive long enough to cross toward the next one could be more difficult.
Mortars provide another layer of pressure from farther inside. They can keep firing while Giants are distracted by other defenses, and their splash damage becomes more valuable if support troops pile up behind the tanks.
The storage buildings themselves are part of the defense too. They have high hit points, so attackers can spend several seconds working through them. That gives nearby Cannons, Archer Towers, Wizard Towers, and Mortars extra firing time. At TH6, where many farming armies are designed to be inexpensive rather than overwhelmingly strong, those delays can matter.
There are some trade-offs. The core is compact, and the two Gold Storages are close enough that a successful central push could reach both fairly quickly. The overall layout is also fairly symmetrical, so an experienced attacker may identify a preferred entry after studying it.
Even so, the farming concept is solid. The base relies on centralized resource protection, separated Elixir Storages, compartment-based pathing, splash damage near valuable areas, and high-hitpoint buildings that slow the raid down. It may not save every storage in every defense, but it appears well suited to making a full loot sweep cost more troops and time than a quick attacker may want to spend.
