TH9 Farming Base number 1 – Centralized Resource Defense and Compartment Analysis
This TH9 farming base is fairly compact, but it does not make the mistake of placing every important resource inside one open central room. The Town Hall sits deep in the village, while Elixir and Gold Storages are divided between different compartments around it. That setup appears designed to make a complete loot sweep harder, even when the attacker successfully gets into the base.
The four Elixir Storages are arranged around the central area rather than stacked together. Gold Storages are spread through the upper, left, and inner sections as well. From a farming perspective, that is useful. Breaking through one side may give an attacker access to a storage or two, but reaching the rest requires more movement, additional wall breaks, and usually more surviving troops.
What caught my attention most is the layered center. The Town Hall is surrounded by high-hitpoint resource buildings and several important defenses, creating a busy area where attacking troops may not all choose the same target. Defense-targeting units can move toward Cannons, Archer Towers, or other nearby defenses while Goblins and support troops turn toward storages. When that happens, the attacking force can start to separate.
The walls reinforce this idea. Instead of one giant compartment, the layout uses a collection of smaller sections connected around the core. A successful first breach does not necessarily solve the whole base. Ground armies may have to work through another wall before moving from one valuable area to the next.
Splash damage also appears to be placed with farming attacks in mind. Wizard Towers are positioned around different resource sections, where they can punish groups of Goblins, Archers, Barbarians, or Wizards that gather near storages. Mortars add pressure from farther inside. Against a cheap farming army, those defenses may be more troublesome than they initially look.
Another positive feature is the distribution of defensive fire. Important defenses are not all pushed toward one side. Archer Towers and Cannons cover different approaches, while the stronger interior defenses remain protected behind the first wall layer. Air defenses also appear to sit well inside the village, reducing the chance that an air attacker can remove the main anti-air protection immediately after deployment.
The outer buildings have a slightly different purpose. Collectors, mines, Builder Huts, and other structures around the perimeter provide some easy destruction percentage, which is a weakness. Still, they can also interfere with funneling. Troops dropped too widely may spend valuable time clearing outside buildings instead of entering the core.
There are a couple of trade-offs. The layout is quite symmetrical, so an experienced player may understand the defensive pattern fairly quickly. The compact center could also give good value to spells if an attacker reaches it with a healthy army.
Even with those weaknesses, this looks like a sensible *TH9 farming defense*. Its main strength is not simply protecting the Town Hall. The layout tries to make the attacker fight separately for each major resource area, using storage separation, layered walls, splash coverage, and overlapping defenses to reduce the chance of losing everything in one fast raid.
