## TH9 Farming Base number 7 – Layered Resource Protection and Defensive Analysis
What stands out first about this TH9 farming base is that it does not try to hide every valuable building inside one tiny central compartment. Instead, the layout spreads its important resources across several sections of the village. For a farming base, that may actually be the smarter choice. An attacker can break into one area, grab some loot, and still have quite a bit of work left before reaching everything else.
The Town Hall is positioned inside the main defensive structure rather than being left exposed on the outside. It sits close to the core, where several wall layers and nearby defenses make a quick Town Hall grab less convenient. The Clan Castle area also appears fairly central, which may help defenders respond from deeper inside the village instead of being easily pulled from the edge.
Resource protection is clearly the main idea here. The four Elixir Storages are concentrated through the lower-middle portion of the base, but they are not simply sitting together in one open room. Walls, defenses, and other buildings interrupt the path between them. Gold Storages are spread into other sections, particularly around the center and right side. That separation means a farming army cannot normally collect every major storage just by opening one wall.
There is also a decent amount of splash damage around the sections where troops are likely to bunch up. Wizard Towers cover several important compartments, while Mortars can pressure larger groups from farther away. Against a basic Giant-and-Wizard raid, for example, Giants may become stuck working through defensive buildings while supporting troops behind them take splash damage. Cheap Goblin-heavy attacks could face a similar problem once they move beyond the exposed collectors.
The wall design deserves some attention too. It is not one huge box. The base uses smaller compartments and narrow transitions between different areas. Ground troops may enter successfully but then split when they have to choose between nearby defenses and resource buildings. That kind of pathing is sometimes more valuable than simply adding another wall around the core.
Defensive coverage appears reasonably balanced across the village. Cannons and Archer Towers are distributed through different sides rather than being heavily stacked in one corner. Air-targeting defenses are also kept within the protected sections of the base. A focused air army can still break a TH9 layout like this, but the attacker should have to remove several defensive layers before getting comfortable access to the interior.
I also would not ignore the outside buildings. Collectors, mines, Army Camps, Builder Huts, and other structures create a wider ring around the walls. They are easy percentage targets, which is one weakness, but they can also waste time. Poorly placed troops may walk along the outside instead of entering the base where the attacker intended.
The layout is not perfect. The lower half contains several valuable targets relatively close together, so a successful push through that side could become expensive for the defender. A patient attacker who studies the compartments may also find a controlled route toward the core.
Still, as an everyday **TH9 farming defense**, the layout appears well thought out. Its real strength is not making every storage impossible to reach. It is making an attacker work repeatedly for the next one. Multiple compartments, separated resources, useful splash coverage, and awkward ground pathing all help limit how much loot a rushed or poorly planned raid can take.
