This Builder Hall 10 number 01 layout takes a noticeably compact approach to defense. Instead of spreading every important building across the map, most of the defensive strength is concentrated around the Builder Hall, creating a small but dangerous central zone. Looking at the layout, that appears to be the main idea: force attackers into an area where several defenses can work together rather than letting troops pick them off individually.
The Builder Hall sits deep inside the main wall structure, surrounded by defenses and protected by multiple wall sections. It is not positioned directly against an outer edge, so an attacker usually needs to clear some surrounding buildings before getting a comfortable route into the center. That extra movement may seem minor, but in Builder Base battles it can be enough to disturb troop pathing or waste valuable attack time.
One of the stronger parts of the design is its irregular compartment structure. The walls do not form one large, predictable square. Instead, there are smaller sections and openings that can influence where ground troops move. Boxer Giants, Power P.E.K.K.A.s or the Battle Machine may initially target a nearby defense rather than travelling directly toward the Builder Hall. If the supporting troops follow a different path, the attack can become divided surprisingly quickly.
Defensive coverage around the core also appears fairly dense. Important defenses are positioned close enough that troops entering the middle are unlikely to fight only one building at a time. A strong ground push may reach the Builder Hall, but it could be taking damage from several directions while doing so. This makes the center particularly uncomfortable for attacks that depend on keeping a large group of troops together.
Another interesting choice is the amount of open space around the compact defensive section. At first, that can make the base look easier than it really is. In practice, the outside buildings can influence funnels and troop targeting. An attacker who places units too widely may watch some of them move toward side structures while the main army enters the central defenses without enough support.
The layout also creates useful time pressure. Because several buildings sit outside the main core, destroying the Builder Hall does not automatically mean the attacker has cleared most of the stage. Late cleanup can become important, especially when surviving troops are slow or have been pulled into different areas.
There are still trade-offs. A compact core means that a well-planned attacker who creates a clean funnel and reaches the center with enough surviving troops could potentially remove several important defenses in a relatively short period. The open approaches may also give experienced players enough room to carefully prepare their entry.
Overall, though, this BH10 base has a solid defensive concept. Its strength comes from central defensive concentration, awkward troop pathing, overlapping pressure and the risk of losing time on exterior structures. It appears particularly capable of punishing rushed attacks where troops are deployed without a proper funnel. As with any Builder Hall 10 layout, the final defensive results will also depend on defense levels, trap placement, reinforcement choices and the skill of the attacker.
