This Builder Hall 10 layout number 10 uses a broad diamond shape, but it is not as open as it first looks. The Builder Hall sits close to the center, surrounded by a mixture of defensive buildings and short wall sections that influence how troops move through the base. Instead of trying to hide the Hall behind several layers of walls, the design seems to make attackers fight through sustained defensive pressure once they enter the main area.
The central Builder Hall placement is probably the biggest strength here. There is no obvious edge where an attacker can reach it after clearing only one or two buildings. Approaching from the bottom means moving through several defensive targets first, while the upper and side entries can still leave important defenses firing into the attack.
One thing I like about this layout is that its defenses are not all packed directly beside the Builder Hall. The Giant Cannon on the upper-right side, for example, sits far enough away to remain relevant even when troops start fighting in the center. Against ground-heavy armies, that separation may be annoying because destroying the Builder Hall does not automatically remove pressure from the rest of the base.
The left side follows a similar idea. A tall defensive structure and several smaller defenses cover that approach, giving the layout fairly balanced pressure from both halves. This should help prevent attackers from finding one completely weak side and sending the entire army through it without much resistance.
The walls are also doing more than simply protecting buildings. The small lower compartments and angled sections can cause ground troops to change targets as they approach the center. A Battle Machine or Power P.E.K.K.A. may move toward a nearby defense while another part of the army stays outside clearing buildings. Once a push becomes separated like that, the core defenses get more time to work.
There is a useful cleanup element as well. Several buildings are positioned outside or near the edge of the main walls. They may offer easy early percentage, but they can also pull troops away from the intended route. Later in the attack, surviving units may need to travel back toward those separated structures, adding a little extra time pressure.
The layout is not perfect, of course. Because the Builder Hall and several valuable defenses occupy a fairly compact central area, a well-organized army that enters together could remove multiple important targets quickly. Good funneling can also reduce much of the pathing disruption the walls are trying to create.
Still, the overall defensive idea is convincing. This BH10 base appears built around balanced defensive coverage, central Builder Hall protection, troop splitting, and keeping dangerous defenses active from different angles. It should punish rushed deployment more consistently than carefully prepared attacks. Actual performance will naturally depend on defense levels, trap settings, troop upgrades, and how well the attacker handles the entry.
