This Builder Hall 7 number 07 base feels more like a small maze than a traditional square defense. The walls break the village into several irregular compartments, and the Builder Hall sits close to the middle where those sections meet. That combination appears intentional: instead of trying to keep attackers outside for as long as possible, the base lets troops enter and then tries to make their movement increasingly awkward.
The Builder Hall is well supported from several angles. It is not hidden in a distant corner, but reaching it cleanly is another matter. Defenses are positioned above, below and beside the Hall, so a direct push toward the center may expose troops to several sources of damage at once. An attacker who commits too much through one opening could end up with a crowded group fighting inside a narrow area while the surrounding defenses continue firing.
The upper-left part of the base looks particularly useful for slowing ground attacks. The Multi Mortar sits behind walls rather than on an exposed edge, allowing it to keep working while troops deal with closer targets. Its position near the central compartments means grouped troops may stay within its influence for a decent portion of the attack instead of removing it immediately.
On the opposite side, the defensive arrangement creates another problem. There are several short wall sections and nearby targets competing for troop attention. A tanky unit may head toward one defense while supporting troops lock onto something else. That small separation is exactly the sort of thing this base appears designed to encourage. Once the front line stops protecting the army behind it, even ordinary defensive fire becomes more effective.
The lower half is interesting because the compartments extend outward rather than forming one clean border. Troops entering from around 5 to 7 o’clock have several possible destinations before they reach the Hall. Some may turn toward the side defenses, while others continue inward. A carefully built funnel can reduce that problem, but a rushed deployment is likely to produce messy pathing.
Air attacks have decisions to make as well. The Air Bombs are positioned away from the Builder Hall, so they are not automatically removed during an early central push. An attacker can target them first, but doing that means starting farther from the core. Ignoring them keeps the route shorter, although flying troops may have to deal with that anti-air threat later when their numbers are already reduced.
The scattered exterior buildings also deserve some credit. They look easy to clear, yet that is partly the point. A troop pulled toward an outside structure can lose several seconds walking away from the main fight, and those delays may leave the central group short on support.
There is a downside to packing so much defensive value near the middle. If an attacker opens the right compartments and reaches the Builder Hall with a healthy, organized force, several important defenses become accessible within a relatively small area. The layout gets much more value when troops enter unevenly than when everything arrives together.
For BH7, this is a thoughtful defense built around compartment pressure, troop separation and overlapping central fire. It does not try to look unbeatable. Instead, it creates enough pathing decisions that a slightly mistimed or poorly funneled attack can lose shape before reaching the most important part of the base.
