TH10 Clan War Base #1: Multi-Compartment Defense Built Around Three-Star Pressure

TH10 Clan War Layout #1 uses a multi-compartment structure with the Town Hall offset toward the right side of the core. Looking at the actual base, the design seems less interested in perfect symmetry and more focused on creating several defensive problems that an attacker has to solve in the correct order.

The Town Hall, Inferno Towers, Air Defenses, storages, and supporting defenses do not all sit on one convenient line. That separation gives the layout a clear war purpose: an attacker might secure early value, but converting that start into a three-star finish is another matter.

The offset Town Hall complicates the core route

The Town Hall sits inside the main defensive network but slightly to the right of center.

That positioning can make a direct push less predictable. Troops entering from one side may be pulled toward nearby defenses instead of staying perfectly aligned with the Town Hall. If the funnel is only slightly loose, heroes and support troops can begin working on different compartments.

For the defense, that split is valuable. A concentrated army is dangerous; two smaller groups usually receive less efficient spell support and take longer to clear the same amount of base.

Multiple compartments create repeated defensive tests

The inner structure contains several small defensive pockets rather than one giant core.

A wall break may open one section, but it does not automatically give access to everything behind it. Troops still have to retarget, cross another wall line, or change direction before reaching the next high-value area.

That creates subtle time pressure. An attack can look healthy midway through the raid and still struggle later because the surviving troops are scattered across the wrong sections.

For a Clan War layout, that is often enough to protect the final star.

Air and Inferno coverage forces choices

The Air Defenses and Inferno Towers are deliberately separated rather than grouped into one obvious defensive cluster.

That spacing may force an attacker to choose which threat to control first. Queen Charge LavaLoon, for example, would need the Queen phase to remove useful defensive value while also creating a sensible route for the air army.

Hog or Miner Hybrid is another plausible answer if the attacker can keep movement predictable through the compartments. Compact sections may also offer chain value to Electro Dragon-style pressure when available, although the whole village is not equally dense.

The top edge is the main pressure point

The top edge appears to offer the easiest funnel and some relatively accessible early value.

The danger for the defense comes when that opening becomes too wide. Several neighboring compartments can come under pressure at once, weakening the staged structure.

There is a catch, though. A wide entry can also cause troop splitting. If one group moves toward the core while another remains outside, the attack may lose valuable time and concentrated damage.

Why Layout #1 works for Clan War

The strongest quality of TH10 Clan War Base #1 is that an easy beginning does not guarantee an easy ending.

Its offset Town Hall, multi-compartment core, separated Infernos, and distributed Air Defenses are designed to create pathing uncertainty, defensive persistence, and cleanup pressure.
