TH13 Clan War Base #10: Open Anti-Three-Star Defense with Split Core Pressure
TH13 Clan War Layout #10 is an open anti-three-star base built around separating the main objective from the rest of the defensive value. Looking at the layout itself, the compartments are intentionally uneven. The Town Hall is offset from the geometric center, while Inferno Towers, Air Defenses, X-Bows, Scattershots, and other threats remain spread through several pockets.
That is important in war. The base does not need every compartment to survive. It needs the attack to lose strength, time, or organization before the final buildings are cleared.
The Town Hall does not define the entire defense
The Town Hall sits inside a protected section of the inner network, but several major defenses are kept outside that immediate pocket.
This creates a useful anti-three-star trade.
Even if the objective is eventually secured, the attacking army may still have to deal with dangerous compartments on the opposite side. From the defender's perspective, that is better than stacking every valuable building together and allowing one strong central phase to remove everything at once.
The layout appears willing to risk the Town Hall if that commitment weakens the force available for the back end.
The open structure creates several separate fights
The central wall network is broken into multiple medium-sized compartments instead of one oversized box.
That structure may look less intimidating than a tightly packed core, but it serves another purpose: troop separation.
Units entering one compartment can be pulled toward neighboring defenses while heroes or support troops move somewhere else. Once the attacking formation stretches, Infernos, X-Bows, and Scattershots gain longer firing windows.
This is especially useful defensively against Yeti or Bowler Smash formations, which are much more dangerous when everything stays grouped. Queen Charge Hybrid creates a different challenge, but the base still benefits if the main force reaches different sections at different times.
Defensive coverage stays active in stages
The Air Defenses cover different crossing lanes, while the Inferno Towers remain separated rather than forming one compact pair.
That spacing reduces easy spell value.
Against Dragons or LavaLoon, one air-defense section may fall without making the rest of the village safe. Another defensive lane can remain active and continue protecting percentage later in the raid.
The base therefore relies on sustained pressure, not one short burst of damage.
The upper-left edge is the main pressure point
The upper-left side appears to be the most manageable outer section.
For the defense, the concern is not simply losing a few buildings there. The bigger risk is an early objective phase that costs the attacker too little.
If the Town Hall section is secured while heroes, spells, and the main army remain largely intact, Layout #10 loses part of its anti-three-star advantage. That makes this side particularly important for trap pressure, overlapping defenses, and anything that slows the transition toward the core.
Why Layout #10 works for Clan War
The defensive strength of TH13 Clan War Base #10 comes from forcing the raid to solve several jobs separately: funnel control, Town Hall pressure, core survival, and cleanup.
The offset objective creates commitment, open compartments encourage troop separation, and distributed defenses keep meaningful firepower alive after the first section falls.
