TH15 Farming Base #8: Multi-Compartment Defense Built to Preserve Loot Across the Core

TH15 Farming Layout #8 uses a dense multi-compartment structure that keeps the Town Hall and major resource buildings inside several overlapping defensive zones. Looking at the base itself, the valuable targets are not arranged in one simple line. Storages are divided between different inner pockets, with Infernos, X-Bows, Air Defenses, and other high-damage defenses positioned between them.

That gives the layout a clear farming purpose: a raider might successfully break one section, but the rest of the loot should not automatically become available.

Storage separation limits how much one breakthrough can achieve

The Gold and Elixir Storages are spread through several compartments around the inner core.

This is probably the most useful defensive feature of Layout #8. Rather than concentrating every storage beside the Town Hall, the base makes different resource pockets support one another indirectly.

A storage can act almost like a defensive obstacle because of its high hit points. Troops may spend several seconds destroying it while nearby defenses continue firing. Even after that pocket falls, another valuable section remains behind a different wall line.

For farming defense, that gradual resistance is often more useful than trying to make one compartment impossible to enter.

The inner structure encourages troop separation

The core contains a mixture of narrow corridors and medium-sized compartments.

Once an attacking army reaches this area, several attractive targets can appear at roughly the same time. That may cause troops to divide between neighboring sections rather than staying together.

From the defender's perspective, this is useful.

A concentrated army can overwhelm defenses quickly. A split army is different. Heroes may move toward one storage while heavy troops continue elsewhere, reducing the value of shared Rage, Heal, Freeze, or Overgrowth spells.

The layout seems designed to turn that loss of coordination into extra protection for the remaining resources.

Air and Inferno pressure is deliberately spread out

The Air Defenses and Inferno Towers do not form one neat cluster in the center.

Instead, they cover different parts of the village. This means controlling one major defensive threat does not necessarily silence the next section as well.

That spacing should help the base maintain pressure against Dragons or LavaLoon as they travel between resource pockets. Heavy ground armies such as Root Riders face a similar issue in a different way: they may move through walls quickly, but their supporting heroes and troops can still become separated by the compartment layout.

The defensive strength here comes from multiple active zones rather than one oversized damage pocket.

The top edge carries extra defensive responsibility

The top edge appears to be the most approachable outer section, so it plays an important role in protecting the storage-heavy core.

Ideally, this area should make early progress expensive in some way—through time, troop losses, hero health, or abilities. If the first layer disappears too easily, too much attacking strength may remain for the deeper resource pockets.

There is a useful twist, though. A funnel that becomes too wide may send troops into adjacent compartments. That split can actually strengthen the defense by slowing the overall rate at which storages are removed.

Why Layout #8 fits Farming

The strongest quality of TH15 Farming Base #8 is that it protects loot through separation.

Its Town Hall remains inside the defensive network, storages are divided across several pockets, and important defenses continue operating from different sections even after part of the village has fallen.
