TH15 Farming Base #10: Compact Multi-Compartment Defense for Layered Loot Protection

TH15 Farming Layout #10 uses a tight multi-compartment structure with the Town Hall slightly offset toward the upper side of the core. After studying the actual base, its defensive purpose seems fairly clear: keep the valuable parts of the village close enough to support each other, but separated enough that one successful breakthrough does not expose every storage at once.

The base feels compact, yet it is not a single-box design. Several smaller compartments surround the Town Hall and storage-heavy center, creating multiple defensive stages. For farming, that is useful because preserving part of the loot can matter just as much as completely stopping a raid.

Resource pockets are protected separately

The storages are distributed around different sides of the inner structure rather than placed in one obvious pile.

This gives Layout #10 a useful form of damage control. Even if troops reach one Elixir or Gold Storage, other valuable buildings remain behind separate walls and active defenses.

The storages themselves also have defensive value because of their high hit points. Troops can spend several seconds working through one while Infernos, X-Bows, Cannons, and surrounding defenses continue dealing damage.

That extra delay may seem small, but across several storage pockets it can become significant.

The compact core encourages troop separation

The wall pattern creates many neighboring compartments around the center.

This appears designed to make attacking formations lose their shape. When several targets become available at similar distances, one group may move toward a storage while another turns toward a defense in the next compartment.

From the defender's perspective, that is useful.

Root Riders and other heavy ground troops may cross walls efficiently, but supporting heroes and smaller units can still end up following different routes. Once the army spreads out, spell coverage becomes less efficient and individual storage pockets get more time to survive.

Infernos and Air Defenses avoid one easy control zone

The Air Defenses and Inferno Towers are spread across different sections rather than forming one tidy cluster.

That spacing reduces the chance that a single Freeze, Overgrowth, or similar spell can neutralize too much of the defensive network at once.

Against Dragons or LavaLoon, different air-defense zones can remain active as troops move through the village. Queen Charge Hybrid faces a similar defensive problem: clearing one compartment does not automatically expose every valuable building behind it.

The base is trying to maintain continuous defensive pressure, not rely on one short burst.

The top edge carries the most defensive responsibility

The top edge appears to be the most accessible section of Layout #10.

Defensively, this side needs to make the opening cost something—time, hero health, troops, abilities, or spells. If the upper section collapses too cheaply, too much attacking strength may remain for the storage-heavy core.

There is also a tradeoff. A very wide funnel can threaten several compartments at once, but it can also split the attacking force. Layout #10 appears designed to punish that separation by keeping multiple defensive pockets active simultaneously.

Why Layout #10 works for Farming

The real strength of TH15 Farming Base #10 is its layered resource protection.

The slightly offset Town Hall, separated storages, compact compartments, divided Inferno pressure, and staggered Air Defense coverage all work toward the same goal: make full loot collection harder than simply breaking into one part of the village.
