TH15 Farming Base #13: Multi-Compartment Loot Defense with Split-Lane Pressure
TH15 Farming Layout #13 uses a multi-compartment structure with the Town Hall slightly shifted toward the upper side of the core. After examining the base itself, the defensive plan seems centered on preserving resources through separation. The valuable buildings are not sitting in one convenient cluster; instead, storages and major defenses are distributed across several pockets.
That gives the layout a practical farming identity. A strong raid may still take some loot, but reaching one storage does not automatically open the path to every other resource building.
The center protects more than just the Town Hall
The Town Hall sits within the heavier defensive portion of the village, surrounded by several layers of walls and important defenses.
Around that central area, Gold and Elixir Storages are positioned in different compartments. This arrangement appears deliberate. If one side of the core breaks, the remaining storage pockets can continue functioning as separate defensive objectives.
For farming, that matters more than simply hiding the Town Hall.
The layout is essentially trying to limit the damage from each successful breakthrough. One compartment may fall, while another storage remains protected by fresh walls, defensive fire, and additional travel distance.
Compartment depth creates natural delays
The wall structure is fairly dense, particularly around the middle.
Rather than relying on one huge compartment, Layout #13 forces movement through several smaller defensive zones. That may slow the raid in a less obvious way: troops repeatedly need to change targets and direction.
Those short delays can add up.
If the main army spreads between neighboring sections, the defense gets even more value. One group may chase a storage while another becomes occupied by a defense several tiles away. The attacking force is still alive, but it is no longer clearing the base as one concentrated unit.
That is where the layout's time pressure begins to matter.
Air and Inferno coverage stays separated
The Air Defenses and Inferno Towers are spread through different parts of the base rather than forming one neat cluster.
This is a useful defensive choice because it prevents one spell or one successful push from neutralizing every important threat at the same time.
Against Dragons or LavaLoon, separate air-defense zones can keep pressure active even after another section has already fallen. Root Rider or heavy ground armies face a different version of the same problem: they may break through quickly, but support troops and heroes can become separated between the inner compartments.
The defense is relying on spacing and repeated pressure, not just raw damage.
The bottom edge carries the biggest responsibility
The bottom edge looks like the most accessible part of the layout, which makes it the main defensive concern.
That side does not necessarily need to stop a raid immediately. Its job is to make the opening cost something—time, hero health, troops, or spell value—before the storage-heavy core is threatened.
There is also a useful defensive tradeoff here. If the attacking funnel becomes too wide, troops may divide between adjacent compartments. That can put several sections under pressure, but it also weakens the concentrated force reaching the deepest loot pockets.
Why Layout #13 works for Farming
The strength of TH15 Farming Base #13 comes from how it protects resources in stages.
Its slightly offset Town Hall, separated storages, multi-compartment walls, distributed Infernos, and staggered Air Defense coverage all support the same goal: make complete loot collection slower and less efficient than taking only part of the available resources.
Overall, Layout #13 is a layered farming defense built around storage separation, troop-pathing disruption, defensive depth, and cleanup time. It may surrender some resources during a strong raid, but the design gives the remaining loot a realistic chance of surviving behind separate defensive pockets.
