TH15 Farming Base #15: Layered Loot Protection with a Multi-Compartment Core

TH15 Farming Layout #15 is a multi-compartment resource defense built around keeping valuable buildings separated rather than hiding everything in one oversized core. Looking closely at the actual layout, the Town Hall sits slightly toward the upper side of the central structure, while the major storages are divided between several surrounding pockets.

That arrangement gives the base a clear farming purpose. It may lose one storage during a strong raid, but the design tries to prevent that first breakthrough from turning into a complete sweep of the village.

Resource separation is the main defensive idea

The Gold and Elixir Storages are distributed across different parts of the inner structure instead of being stacked together.

This matters because every storage pocket becomes another defensive stage. Even after troops reach one high-value area, walls and active defenses remain between them and the next resource section.

For farming, that is often more useful than trying to protect one storage perfectly.

The layout appears willing to sacrifice a portion of the available loot if doing so preserves the rest. A raider who commits heavily to one side may finish that section with less time and fewer healthy troops available for the other compartments.

The compact center keeps damage concentrated

The middle of Layout #15 is noticeably denser than the outside.

The Town Hall, storages, Inferno Towers, and other important defenses sit close enough to support one another, but they are not all packed into the same compartment. That balance is useful defensively.

A single breach does not immediately expose everything.

At the same time, troops moving through the resource core remain under overlapping fire from several directions. Even high-hitpoint units can lose momentum when they have to repeatedly change targets between small compartments.

Wide troop movement can actually help the defense

One of the more interesting features of this layout is what happens when an attacking army spreads too much.

Because several compartments sit beside one another, troops can begin dividing between different sections. One group may pressure a storage pocket while another moves toward a defensive building somewhere else.

From the defender's perspective, that is often a good outcome.

A concentrated army clears buildings quickly. A divided army takes longer, receives less efficient spell support, and gives the remaining defenses more opportunities to preserve untouched loot.

This is likely one of the reasons the multi-compartment shape works so well here.

Air and Inferno coverage avoids one easy target

The Air Defenses and Inferno Towers are deliberately separated rather than arranged in one neat defensive cluster.

That prevents too much defensive value from disappearing at the same moment. Even if one section is controlled, another threat can remain active around a different storage pocket.

Against Dragons or LavaLoon, this staggered coverage helps keep air pressure alive across the village. Root Rider-style ground armies face a different problem: the front line may move quickly, but heroes and supporting troops can become separated by the compartment structure.

The defense is using spacing and pathing, not just raw damage.

The top edge carries the most defensive responsibility

The tactical profile identifies the top edge as the easiest outer section, so this is probably the area that needs to absorb the opening pressure.

It does not necessarily need to stop troops completely. The more realistic defensive goal is to make that first stage cost time, hero health, abilities, or spell value before the central loot pockets are threatened.

If the opening becomes too comfortable, the deeper compartments may not have enough time to do their job.

Overall defensive strategy

TH15 Farming Base #15 is a layered loot-preservation layout built around separated storages, compact defensive pockets, troop splitting, and travel time between valuable targets.
