TH15 Farming Base #19: Layered Storage Defense with a Multi-Compartment Core

TH15 Farming Layout #19 is built around a compact multi-compartment core where the Town Hall sits near the center, behind the main storage line. Looking at the actual base first, the defensive plan appears focused on something more useful for farming than simply protecting one building: making complete loot collection take time.

The Gold and Elixir Storages are distributed through different sections of the core, with walls and active defenses separating them. A raider might reach one valuable pocket fairly quickly, but moving from that pocket to the next is where the layout starts doing its real work.

The storage line protects resources in stages

The most important farming feature is the way the storages surround the Town Hall area.

They are close enough to benefit from strong central defenses, yet separated enough that one breach does not expose every resource building at once. This gives the base a kind of layered damage control.

Losing one Elixir Storage, for example, does not necessarily open a straight route toward the remaining Gold and Elixir pockets. Troops still need to cross another wall line and survive another defensive zone.

For farming, that is a sensible trade. The base may lose some loot during a strong raid, but it tries to prevent the attacker from taking everything in one sweep.

Multiple compartments create time pressure

Layout #19 contains a lot of medium-sized compartments around the center.

Those walls are not just there to slow Wall Breakers or ground troops. Their bigger defensive purpose appears to be breaking the raid into separate phases.

When an army reaches the central section, several targets become available at similar distances. Troops can begin splitting between neighboring storage pockets instead of staying concentrated.

That can be surprisingly useful for the defense.

A divided army clears buildings more slowly, receives less efficient spell support, and gives Infernos, X-Bows, and other defenses additional seconds to keep firing.

Air coverage is deliberately staggered

The Air Defenses are positioned around different sides of the inner structure instead of being concentrated in one corner. Inferno Towers also function as separate defensive anchors.

This makes the resource pockets harder to collapse simultaneously.

Against Dragons or LavaLoon, the defense can continue applying pressure from another section even after one air lane begins to fail. Root Rider or heavy ground armies face a similar problem in a different way: the front line may move quickly, but supporting heroes and troops can become separated between compartments.

Queen Charge Hybrid can also threaten the storage network, yet the base appears designed to make clearing one section only part of the job.

The top edge is the main area to watch

The top edge looks like the most accessible side of the layout.

From a defensive perspective, this area needs to make the first stage of the raid cost something—time, hero health, troop strength, or abilities. If the top section disappears too easily, too much of the attacking army may survive for the storage-heavy center.

There is an interesting tradeoff, though. If the funnel becomes too wide, the main army may split between adjacent compartments. That actually helps Layout #19 by slowing progression from one valuable pocket to another.

Why Layout #19 works for Farming

The strength of TH15 Farming Base #19 is not perfect protection of every resource. It is making total loot collection inefficient.

The central Town Hall, separated storage pockets, layered walls, staggered Air Defenses, and divided Inferno coverage all support the same defensive idea: once one section falls, another valuable section should still require fresh effort.

Overall, Layout #19 is a resource-preservation defense built around compartment depth, storage separation, troop splitting, and time pressure. A strong raid may still claim part of the loot, but getting everything is likely to require more travel and more commitment than the base first suggests.
