TH15 Farming Base #21: Layered Multi-Compartment Loot Defense
TH15 Farming Layout #21 is built around a compact multi-compartment core with the Town Hall slightly offset toward the lower side. After looking at the actual layout first, the most noticeable farming feature is the way valuable buildings are divided across several pockets instead of being stacked into one obvious loot zone.
That matters more than it may seem. A farming defense does not necessarily need to stop every raid completely. Its real job is to make full resource collection expensive, slow, and awkward. Layout #21 appears designed with exactly that idea in mind.
Storages are protected in separate layers
The Gold and Elixir Storages are spread around the inner compartments rather than concentrated into one single section.
This gives the base a useful defensive safety net. Even if one storage pocket is lost, the remaining resources still sit behind additional walls and active defenses. A raider who reaches one side of the core does not automatically gain access to everything else.
The Town Hall also benefits from this arrangement. Its slightly lower position places it behind part of the storage line while keeping other valuable sections alive around it.
For farming, that is a practical trade: some loot may be exposed, but total loot loss becomes harder to achieve.
The compartments are meant to slow progression
The wall structure is fairly tight, with several small and medium sections around the core.
Defensively, these compartments do more than block movement. They create repeated pauses in the raid.
One group of troops may move toward a storage while another becomes distracted by a nearby defense. If that separation happens, the attacker loses concentration and the base gains time.
This can be especially useful against heavy ground armies. Root Riders may not care much about walls themselves, but heroes and support troops can still take different routes once multiple targets become available.
The layout appears to rely on that split rather than expecting walls alone to save the resources.
Air coverage protects several loot routes
The Air Defenses are spread across opposite parts of the village, while the Inferno Towers support different routes through the middle.
That distributed coverage is a strong farming feature because one successful spell sequence is less likely to remove every major threat at once.
Against Dragons or LavaLoon, different storage pockets can remain protected by separate defensive zones. Queen Charge Hybrid creates another type of pressure, but the same principle applies: clearing one section should not immediately expose all remaining loot.
The top edge needs to hold long enough
The top edge looks like the most accessible side of Layout #21.
From the defender's perspective, this area does not necessarily need to stop the raid outright. It simply needs to make the opening expensive enough that the deeper resource compartments remain difficult to reach.
Time is important here.
If the first section takes longer than expected, the attacker has less time to move between separated storages later. Interestingly, a funnel that becomes too wide may also help the defense by sending the main army into neighboring compartments instead of one concentrated route.
Why Layout #21 works for Farming
The farming strength of TH15 Farming Base #21 comes from making resource collection happen in stages.
Its multi-compartment core, separated storages, slightly offset Town Hall, spread Air Defenses, and divided Inferno coverage all support the same idea: losing one area should not mean losing everything.
Overall, Layout #21 is a layered loot-protection defense built around compartment depth, troop separation, distributed resource pockets, and time pressure. It may give up part of the available loot during a strong raid, but the remaining storages require another commitment rather than sitting conveniently along the same path.
