TH7 Farming Base number 3 – Compact Core and Layered Resource Defense
This TH7 farming base has a compact shape, but it is not simply a box with all the valuable buildings thrown into the middle. The walls create several small sections around the Town Hall, while the upper part of the village stretches outward into another defensive pocket. That extra depth may look minor, but it gives attacking troops more chances to lose their original path.
The Town Hall is positioned well inside the main structure. More importantly for farming, the two Elixir Storages are also kept around the central area rather than being left close to the perimeter. Gold Storages sit in different sections nearby, which means an attacker cannot normally open one wall and immediately collect every major resource.
I think that separation is the main strength of this layout.
A ground attack from the left or right may get into one compartment without too much trouble, but the next target is not necessarily in a straight line. Giants could turn toward a nearby defensive building while Goblins or Wizards move toward a storage. Once those groups begin choosing different targets, the raid becomes harder to control.
The wall design supports that behavior. Several short compartments sit around the central core, and the upper section creates another route that troops may be drawn toward. A poor funnel could leave part of an army moving around the side while the main group pushes inward alone.
That is useful against quick farming raids, where attackers often want easy loot without spending their full army.
The storages themselves also help defensively. They have high hit points, so troops can remain stuck on them for several seconds. While that happens, Cannons, Archer Towers, Mortars, Wizard Towers, and other nearby defenses continue firing. One delay may not seem important, but repeating it across two or three compartments can gradually wear an army down.
Splash damage appears positioned close enough to the valuable interior to punish groups of low-health troops. Goblins may be able to rush one storage, for example, but staying grouped while moving toward the next one could expose them to heavy damage. The same applies to Archers or Wizards following behind Giants.
Air defense seems reasonably protected as well. The main anti-air coverage is kept within the defended area instead of being completely exposed on the edge. That matters at TH7, where Dragon attacks are common. Air troops will usually need to move through other buildings before reaching the important anti-air defenses, while Archer Towers continue adding damage from the sides.
There are some weaknesses. The two Elixir Storages are relatively close to each other, so a strong push that reaches the center could potentially take both during the same phase of the attack. The core is compact too, which may give an experienced attacker good value once the inner walls are opened.
Still, for everyday TH7 farming, the concept is sensible. The base focuses on keeping valuable resources inside multiple defensive layers, disrupting ground pathing, and making a complete loot sweep require more time and troops than a simple one-side raid. It may not prevent every successful attack, but it should make taking everything noticeably less convenient.
