TH7 Farming Base number 7 – Central Loot Protection and Compartment Defense Analysis
This TH7 farming base is fairly small, but the layout uses its available walls carefully. Rather than putting every important resource building in one central room, it breaks the village into several compact sections around the Town Hall. The result is a base that appears more interested in slowing a loot raid down than simply trying to protect one specific building.
The Town Hall sits close to the center, with the two Elixir Storages positioned on opposite sides. Gold Storages are also kept within the defended interior. That separation is useful for farming because an attacker who reaches one storage still has another part of the village to deal with. There is no obvious single wall break that gives immediate access to all of the major loot.
What I find more interesting is the shape of the compartments. The walls create several narrow lanes through the middle rather than a completely open core. Giants entering from the left, for example, may turn toward a nearby defense while Goblins or Wizards behind them become interested in a storage. A raid can look organized at deployment and then become much less controlled once those troops start choosing different targets.
That is likely where this layout gets a good part of its defensive value.
The storages help as defensive buffers too. They take considerably longer to destroy than many ordinary buildings. While attackers are standing around an Elixir or Gold Storage, nearby Cannons, Archer Towers, Wizard Towers, Mortars, and other defenses have extra time to keep firing. Against a cheap farming army, those few seconds can add up quickly.
Splash damage also appears to cover the more valuable sections rather than being wasted completely on the perimeter. This should make groups of Goblins, Barbarians, Archers, or supporting Wizards more vulnerable once they push beyond the easier outside buildings. A quick Goblin rush may still grab one storage, but moving on to the next one without taking heavy losses is a different challenge.
Air defense is another reasonable part of the design. The important anti-air buildings are located inside the main defensive structure, so Dragons or Balloons cannot simply remove all of the air coverage from the edge. Archer Towers provide additional support from several angles as air troops move inward.
There are some compromises. The base is compact, and if an attacker reaches the middle with a healthy army, several important buildings are fairly close together. The symmetrical appearance also makes the overall structure easier to understand after a careful look. Outside collectors and other buildings may provide some easy percentage as well.
Still, for normal TH7 farming, the defensive idea makes sense. This layout appears built around splitting the valuable storages, forcing troops through several wall sections, using high-hitpoint buildings to stall the raid, and keeping defensive fire active around the core. It may not stop every attack, but it should make a complete loot sweep noticeably more expensive than simply breaking into one side and taking everything.
