TH7 Farming Base number 6 – Compartment-Based Loot Protection Analysis
This TH7 farming base is compact, but it does not feel cramped in a bad way. Most of the important buildings are tucked into separate wall sections around the center, which means an attacker cannot simply open one side and immediately reach every valuable storage.
That is probably the main reason this layout works as a farming base.
The Town Hall sits inside the core, surrounded by resource buildings and several active defenses. The two Elixir Storages are separated rather than placed side by side, and the Gold Storages are also divided between different parts of the interior. So even if one side of the base collapses, there is a reasonable chance that some of the valuable loot on the opposite side remains protected.
I like the wall arrangement here because it creates lots of short, awkward routes. The base is not built around one giant compartment. Instead, troops have to move from one smaller section to another.
Imagine a Giant-based farming attack entering from the lower-left side. The Giants may lock onto the closest defense, while Goblins or Wizards behind them turn toward a nearby storage. If that happens, the army starts separating before it reaches the center. A good attacker can obviously manage this with careful funneling, but rushed farming raids are less forgiving.
The storages themselves also contribute to the defense. They have high hit points, so troops tend to spend a while attacking them. During those few seconds, surrounding Archer Towers, Cannons, Mortars, Wizard Towers, and other defenses can continue dealing damage. It sounds like a small advantage, but across two or three resource compartments those delays start to add up.
Splash damage appears to cover the important interior fairly well. This is especially useful against armies that rely on large groups of Barbarians, Archers, Goblins, or supporting Wizards. Once those troops move beyond the easy outside buildings, staying grouped near the storages can become risky.
The base's anti-air coverage is also kept inside the defended structure rather than being completely exposed on the perimeter. That should make Dragons or Balloons travel deeper before removing the main air defenses, with Archer Towers adding damage along the way.
There are a few compromises. Because the layout is compact, a strong army that successfully reaches the middle with plenty of troops remaining may move between several important buildings quite quickly. Some outside structures are also easy percentage targets. That is not ideal for overall destruction percentage, although those buildings can occasionally pull troops away from the intended funnel.
Overall, this looks like a practical TH7 farming layout rather than a base trying to do everything at once. Its defensive strength comes from splitting the valuable storages, forcing repeated wall entries, using high-hitpoint buildings as delays, and keeping defensive coverage active around the core.
The idea is simple: an attacker may get some loot, but taking all of it should require considerably more effort than breaking through one wall and sending everything toward the center.
