TH7 Farming Base number 9 – Compact Resource Ring and Defensive Compartment Analysis

This TH7 farming base is fairly compact, but it does something useful with that limited space: it makes an attacker work through several small defensive sections rather than giving them one large open core. The Town Hall is kept near the middle, with Gold and Elixir Storages positioned around it and protected by different wall sections.

For farming, that structure makes sense. An attacker may get into one side of the base and collect some loot, but reaching the rest is likely to require another wall break or a change in troop pathing. That is much better than storing everything together, where one successful entry can expose almost every valuable building at once.

The two Elixir Storages are separated around the core, while the Gold Storages are also kept in protected interior positions. Their placement gives the base a kind of resource ring around the Town Hall. It is not perfectly symmetrical, which I actually prefer here, because the attack route is a little less obvious when you first look at it.

Walls create several smaller compartments across the left, right, and lower sections. Giants entering from one direction may start chasing nearby Cannons or Archer Towers instead of heading straight toward the center. Meanwhile, Goblins or Wizards can become distracted by storages and collectors. If the attacker has not prepared the funnel properly, the army may split before the most valuable part of the base is reached.

That is probably where this layout gets most of its defensive value.

The storages themselves also help slow the attack. They have a lot of hit points compared with many regular buildings, so troops can spend several seconds trying to destroy one while nearby defenses keep firing. In a quick farming raid, that delay can be surprisingly annoying. A group that comfortably takes the first storage may arrive at the second one with much less health.

Splash damage is positioned fairly close to the areas where troops are likely to bunch up. Wizard Towers can punish groups of Goblins, Archers, or Wizards moving toward the storages, while Mortars provide wider coverage from inside the base. That should make cheap mass-troop raids less comfortable once they move beyond the exposed perimeter buildings.

Air defense also appears to be kept inside the main wall network rather than sitting right on the edge. That forces Dragons or Balloons to spend more time under fire before reaching the important anti-air buildings, with Archer Towers helping from other angles.

There are a few weaknesses. The base is compact, so a strong army that successfully controls the center could move through several important targets fairly quickly. Some outside buildings also provide easy percentage, and experienced attackers may eventually identify a cleaner entry after studying the wall pattern.

Still, this is a sensible TH7 farming setup. Its main goal appears to be limiting how much loot can be taken in one smooth push. Separated storages, multiple compartments, high-hitpoint buffers, splash coverage, and awkward ground pathing all support that idea without depending on a single defensive trick.
