This Builder Hall 10 layout number 03 uses a compact diamond-shaped structure, and that choice seems to be doing more than just making the base look tidy. The Builder Hall sits inside the lower-middle section, while several important defenses are spread through the compartments above and beside it. An attacker can reach the center, but getting there without losing troops or breaking the army into smaller groups may be the harder part.
The Builder Hall is protected by multiple wall layers rather than being pushed into an exposed corner. What stands out to me is that the base does not place every valuable defense directly beside it. Some of the heavier defensive pressure sits farther north, which means troops moving toward the Builder Hall can still be attacked from other compartments instead of simply clearing everything around one central point.
The wall design is probably one of the stronger features here. There is no single wide compartment that gives ground troops an easy run through the entire base. Instead, the walls create several connected sections, with the upper half narrowing into a more awkward path. Troops such as Power P.E.K.K.A.s, Boxer Giants, or the Battle Machine may choose nearby defenses rather than following the route the attacker originally expected. A small pathing mistake at BH10 can become expensive very quickly.
The Giant Cannon positioned on the right side also deserves attention. Its placement gives it room to pressure ground units moving through that section of the base, especially if several troops line up during the approach. Other defenses around the middle add overlapping fire, so reaching one important target does not necessarily remove the pressure from the rest of the core.
I also like the separation between the northern defensive section and the Builder Hall compartment. It creates a choice for the attacker. Enter from the top and deal with several defenses before reaching the Hall, or approach from the bottom and potentially leave a large part of the defensive network active behind the main army. Neither route looks completely free.
The outer buildings have a smaller but still useful defensive role. Structures sitting outside the main walls can interfere with funneling and may pull individual troops away from the central attack. That is particularly useful against players who spread their deployment too widely. Instead of one coordinated group entering the base, they may end up with troops fighting on two or three different sides.
Air coverage also appears reasonably distributed. Flying units cannot simply remove one isolated air-defense area and then travel through the rest of the base without resistance. The compact spacing should keep several defenses relevant as an air army moves closer to the center.
There is a trade-off, though. Because much of the defensive value is concentrated inside a relatively small area, a very clean entry could allow a strong surviving army to engage several key defenses quickly. Good funneling and careful ability timing may reduce some of the layout's pathing advantage.
Overall, this BH10 base appears strongest when it can split troops, slow the approach, and keep multiple defenses firing at the same time. The layered compartments, protected Builder Hall, side pressure, and scattered exterior targets make it a thoughtful defensive design, particularly against rushed attacks that rely on dropping most of the army from one direction without first controlling the funnel.
