This Builder Hall 10 layout number 06 has a slightly unusual defensive shape. At first glance it seems quite open and simple, but the more important detail is how the Builder Hall and surrounding defenses are packed into a relatively small fighting area. Instead of relying on several deep wall layers, the design appears to rely more on troop movement, concentrated damage, and forcing attackers to make awkward decisions once they enter the base.
The Builder Hall is positioned near the heart of the layout, which gives it support from several nearby defenses. An attacker can see it fairly early, but reaching it cleanly is another matter. Ground troops approaching from one side may lock onto a closer defensive building first, while support units can drift toward structures sitting nearer the perimeter. That split may be enough to weaken the main push before it reaches the Builder Hall.
One part I find interesting is the wall design. The perimeter is not a neat square with four obvious entrances. Some wall sections extend beyond the main defensive area, while other sides are comparatively open. This may look inefficient on paper, yet it can make troop pathing less predictable. A player who assumes everything will travel straight toward the center could easily find part of the army moving along the outside instead.
Most of the heavier defensive pressure is concentrated around the middle. Several defenses are close enough to cover the same general zone, so troops entering the core are likely to face damage from multiple directions. That is particularly useful against large ground units. A powerful troop may survive the first defense, but doing so while two or three additional buildings remain active is a very different situation.
The upper side of the layout adds another problem. A major defense sits slightly away from the central cluster, meaning an attacker focusing entirely on the Builder Hall may leave an important source of damage untouched. Similar pressure exists around the sides, where exterior buildings can interfere with an otherwise clean funnel.
That exterior placement also helps with time and percentage control. Several structures are separated from the central group. If an attacker commits everything directly toward the Builder Hall, surviving troops may still have to travel back across the base for cleanup. In Builder Base battles, those few extra seconds sometimes matter more than expected.
There is a trade-off. The center is compact, and a well-prepared attack that reaches it with most of its troops alive could remove several important defenses fairly quickly. The layout probably depends more on disrupting the approach than surviving indefinitely once the core has been fully breached.
Overall, this BH10 base appears strongest against rushed or poorly funneled attacks. Its defensive value comes from centralized firepower, awkward target selection, uneven wall geometry, and separated cleanup buildings. It does not try to make the Builder Hall impossible to reach; instead, it tries to make the journey there expensive. With suitable defense levels and sensible trap settings, that can make this a frustrating layout for attackers who deploy first and think about pathing afterward.
