This Builder Hall 7 number 03 base has a very deliberate shape. Instead of building one heavy wall around the center, it spreads the defense across a chain of smaller compartments, almost like connected diamonds. That may not look especially intimidating at first, but it creates a practical problem for the attacker: there are several ways into the base, yet very few routes stay straightforward once troops begin choosing their own targets.
The Builder Hall sits close to the center, with the strongest defensive pressure concentrated around it. The Multi Mortar is positioned just to the lower-left of the Hall, while additional defenses cover the opposite side and the lower approach. This means a direct rush toward the Builder Hall is possible, but it is unlikely to be cheap. Troops that reach the middle already damaged can quickly find themselves being fired on from two or three directions.
I think the two upper compartments are particularly useful. Each one contains a ranged defense and is separated from the Builder Hall by its own wall sections. An attacker starting from the top may remove one of these defenses fairly early, but the army can then drift toward either side instead of moving neatly into the center. A few troops taking the wrong turn here may be enough to weaken the main push.
The left and right wings create another layer of pathing trouble. Cannons and other structures sit behind separate wall sections, giving defense-targeting troops several competing destinations. A front-line unit might head left while supporting troops remain around the center, or the opposite can happen. Once the army loses that clean formation, the compact central defenses get much more value from their damage.
The Multi Mortar is well placed for this kind of setup. It is not sitting openly on the perimeter, so an attacker normally has to commit deeper into the village before removing it. While troops are moving through the side compartments or getting held up by walls, its repeated shots can keep wearing down grouped units. The lower defensive section adds pressure from another angle rather than leaving the Hall protected only from above.
Air attacks are not ignored either. The Air Bombs are positioned above the main wall structure, somewhat separated from the Builder Hall. That placement may force flying armies to make an early choice: approach the Air Bombs first and delay the route toward the core, or enter elsewhere and leave an important anti-air defense active for later.
There are weaknesses. The symmetry makes parts of the base easier to read after a careful look, and several important defenses remain relatively close together. If an attacker builds a good funnel and enters the middle with most troops still healthy, the compact core can lose buildings quickly. The wall network works best when pathing becomes messy; a controlled attack reduces that advantage.
Still, this is a thoughtful BH7 defense. Its main strength is not simply wall depth. It comes from forcing target changes, splitting troops between compartments, and keeping meaningful defensive fire around the Builder Hall. Attacks that are dropped too widely or without a clear funnel are likely to feel the pressure most.
