At a glance, this Builder Hall 7 number 06 base looks quite tidy, almost too symmetrical. But that neat shape actually hides a useful defensive idea: the attacker is given several possible entrances, while the important buildings stay concentrated around a compact central zone. The result is a layout that may look easy to read from the outside, yet troop movement can become awkward once the first layer is broken.

The Builder Hall sits in the middle of the base, with defenses arranged around it at different depths. That central placement means there is no obvious “safe side” where an attacker can reach the Hall without crossing meaningful defensive coverage. A push from the top has to deal with several buildings before getting a comfortable angle on the center, while entering from the bottom brings troops close to a tighter cluster of defensive structures.

The wall pattern is probably the most important feature here. Instead of one oversized compartment, the base uses several smaller sections that connect around the core. Defense-targeting troops may enter together and then peel away toward different buildings. One group can drift left, another right, while the rest continue toward the Builder Hall. Once that happens, the attack loses some of its protection because tougher units are no longer absorbing damage for everything behind them.

The lower half appears especially good at creating this split. Two side compartments sit close to the central defensive lane, and troops approaching from below may be tempted into those pockets before reaching the Hall. This can slow the main push and give the center more time to deal damage. It is not dramatic on paper, but a few seconds of poor pathing can make a noticeable difference in Builder Base attacks.

There is useful pressure from the upper side as well. Several structures are positioned just outside or near the edge of the main wall system. They can pull troops away from the center if deployment is too wide. An attacker who tries to clear everything evenly may end up spending more time than expected before the army actually reaches the dangerous part of the base.

Air attacks are not given a completely straightforward route either. The anti-air coverage appears spread across more than one section, so removing a single defense does not necessarily open the entire core. Flying troops pushed directly toward the Hall are likely to remain exposed while crossing the middle, especially if they stay grouped together.

That said, the base is fairly compact. A well-controlled attack that reaches the center with most of its troops still healthy could remove several important buildings in quick succession. The symmetry also makes the general structure easier to understand after a careful look, so strong funneling can reduce some of the pathing problems the design is trying to create.

Overall, this BH7 setup seems strongest when it can break an attack into smaller groups and force troops to change direction around the central compartments. The Hall is well supported, the side pockets create useful distractions, and the defense does not depend on one single trick. Its value comes from making an otherwise simple push become progressively less organized.
